Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use Tarifoo to browse restaurants and place food delivery orders. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Who you're contracting with

The service

Tarifoo is a food delivery marketplace. We connect customers with independent local restaurants in Tarifa and arrange delivery by our drivers. Restaurants set their own menus and prices. Tarifoo arranges delivery but is not the seller of the food. Your purchase contract for the food is with the restaurant.

Placing an order

You can order as a guest (no account required) or as a registered user. To place an order you'll need to: — Set a delivery location within our delivery zone — Select items from a restaurant menu — Provide a phone number for delivery coordination — Choose a payment method and complete checkout Orders are confirmed once accepted by the restaurant. You'll receive a confirmation by email and on-screen.

Prices and currency

All prices are shown in Euros (€) and include Spanish IVA (VAT) at the applicable rate: — Food items: 10% IVA (reduced rate) — Delivery fee: 21% IVA (standard rate) The delivery fee is shown before you confirm your order and depends on your delivery location. Restaurant menu prices are set by each restaurant.

Payment

We accept credit and debit card (processed by Mollie B.V.) and cash on delivery. Card payments are charged at the time of ordering. For cash on delivery, payment is made to the driver upon arrival.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel your order and receive a full refund if: — The restaurant has not yet accepted your order, or — The restaurant has accepted but not yet started preparing it. Once the restaurant begins preparing your order, cancellation is no longer possible and no refund will be issued for the food cost. If your order is cancelled by the restaurant (e.g. too busy, item unavailable), you'll receive a full automatic refund. Card refunds are processed automatically and typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank. For disputes after delivery, contact us at legal@tarifoo.es.

Delivery

We deliver within a defined zone covering Tarifa and surrounding areas. Your delivery location is validated before you complete checkout. We deliver to addresses, pin-drop locations, beaches, and campervan spots within the zone. Provide any helpful access notes (gate codes, landmarks) in the delivery notes field at checkout. Estimated delivery times are shown before you order and are based on restaurant prep time and distance. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Your responsibilities

By using Tarifoo you agree to: — Provide accurate delivery location and contact details — Be available to receive your order (or arrange for someone to do so) — Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cádiz, Spain.
